A Canadian godfather of AI calls for a ‘pause’ on the technology he helped create

Yoshua Bengio, the Canadian professor (Université de Montréal) who is considered one of the godfathers of artificial intelligence, said the technology he helped create should be paused before AI turns into something too big to control.
