Does AI in the classroom facilitate deep learning in students?

Janice Zhang, an assistant professor at William & Mary, believes AI tools will soon be prevalent in education. Zhang and her team conducted a study on the impact of an AI teaching assistant in an entry-level computer programming course, published in the Proceedings of the Eleventh ACM Conference on Learning @ Scale.
