ChatGPT Harm Reduction for Writing Assignments

A professor explains that using ChatGPT for essays misses the point: AI can’t reflect one’s own thoughts, values, or experiences. He also notes that most proposed “solutions” to AI in education, like changing teaching strategies, sound easier than they are and often fail in practice.
