Schools are starting to teach AI literacy. For many, that means helping kids see chatbots’ flaws

U.S. schools are moving from banning AI to teaching responsible experimentation, emphasizing hallucinations, bias, privacy, verification, and knowing when not to use it.

Districts and states are developing policies and accessible training to prepare students for an AI-driven future without letting chatbots replace critical thinking.
