Reading, Writing, and Thinking in the Age of AI

Writing fosters genuine expertise by requiring students to organize, integrate, and apply knowledge across contexts, a cognitive process AI cannot replicate. By embedding informal writing, iterative feedback, and synthesis into learning, educators cultivate critical thinking and deep disciplinary understanding.
